Being close to nature is one of the great pleasures of living in the village – or visiting for the day.
Wing has some lovely wildlife areas, including Long Spinney, which is preserved and maintained by local volunteers.
Our fields and hedgerows are home to many species of animal, birds and insects, as you can see on our pages devoted to birds and wildlife.
