The building offers a choice of three meeting and function rooms, from very large to cosy. It has a superbly equipped kitchen, an atmospheric period snooker room with two tables – and a whole lot of warmth and charm. The library is also located here.

Jubilee Green is the local play park for all ages. Set in between Redwood Drive and Prospect Place. It is also the site of the Carnival and various other events.

How to book a private event on the Recreation Ground or Jubilee Green

You can apply to Wing Parish Council to hold a private event on either of these venues, free of charge, with each application being considered on its merits.

The following are standard requirements to be met for any application:

• Minimum of four weeks’ notice
• You must not charge a fee to attend the event
• Third-party organisations involved in the event (if any) must be run on a non-profit basis
• You must arrange a separate public liability insurance policy to cover the event, which is deemed acceptable to the Parish Council and its insurers.
