Powers

Powers available to Wing Parish Council

The Parish Council has a range of powers at its disposal to carry out duties and functions as part of its role in serving the community as the first tier of local government.

Many of these powers are derived from statutory provisions which have been defined and enacted by Parliament.

Although these powers are available to Wing Parish Council, it does not necessarily mean that it has a need to exercise one or more of them at any moment in time.
